Rise Like A Phoenix

#RiseLikeAPhoenix is probably the hashtag that fits this lady who's defying the odds that have been stacked against her since she was a child.

Elena is a survivor in more ways than one. Her greatest challenge was when she almost took her life in May 2020. She rebuild everything from scratch and changes the trajectory of her life in 365 days with less than MYR 30 in her bank account and MYR 1 in her wallet.

​

Within a span of 1 year, she launched her own food business and a crystal-based jewelry business. She's also a vocal toning facilitator specialising in crystal healing, as well as a writer and an inspirational speaker.

​

That's not all! Elena accepted another challenge to compete in a beauty competition. She was recently crowned the title "Miss Plus World Malaysia 2021/22" on 15th January and will represent her country at the world competition in Texas, USA in March.

​

Her dark life traumas, which included body shaming, mental & emotional abuse, sexual assault, and raped, did not prevent her from rising like a phoenix. Instead, it empowered Elena to step forward as she embodies her wisdom and inspires others on themes dear to her heart, such as self-redemption, mental empowerment, and women empowerment.

She is also a member of The Spunky, The Rebel And A Mama, a collaboration between herself and 2 other remarkable ladies.

​

Together they hope to inspire others to live their life to the fullest. Recently, they have produced two chapbooks - "Life, Love & Passion: A book of Poems" and "Snippets Of Life", which are available for purchase . They conduct workshops together and are also empowerment coaches for others.
